Port of Hood River Budget Committee Meeting
May 3, 2022A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Port of Hood River Commission, in Hood River County in the State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 will be held at the Port Conference Room, 1000 E. Port Marina Drive on May 3, 2022 beginning at 12:00 p.m. The meeting will be live-streamed online at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8FKwopuaecfMwdjKO1HdwA. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the Budget Committee on the budget. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 3, 2022 at the Port Office, by appointment, at 1000 E. Port Marina Drive, Hood River, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please call (541) 386-1645 to arrange a time for pickup of the document. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may provide comment or ask questions via email to porthr@gorge.net or in person at the Port conference room. Port staff will be on hand to manage access and seating arrangement to ensure proper social distancing measures are followed. May 3, 2022The Port of Hood River Board of Commissioners Regular Session meeting begins immediately upon adjournment of the Budget Committee meeting in the Port Marina Center Conference Room located at 1000 E. Port Marina Drive, Hood River, OR 97031. Social distancing of at least 6 feet distance is strongly encouraged in the meeting room and staff will be onhand to assist with seating arrangements.
The Commission welcomes public comment during the public comment period. With the exception of factual questions, the Commission does not immediately discuss issues raised during public comment. The Commission will either refer concerns raised during public comment to the Executive Director for a response or will request that the issue be placed on a future meeting agenda. People distributing copies of materials as part of their testimony should bring 10 copies. Written comment on issues of concern may be submitted to the Port via email to porthr@gorge.net or regular mail to Port of Hood River, Attn: Board of Commissioners, 1000 E. Port Marina Drive, Hood River, OR 97031 at any time. Written comment received by close of business the day before the meeting will be distributed electronically to the Commissioners.
