INVITATION TO BID
The Port of Hood River is requesting bids from contractors for miscellaneous steel repairs on the Hood River/White Salmon Interstate Bridge. The bridge spans the Columbia River and river mile 169, connecting Interstate 84 at Exit 64 in Hood River, Oregon to SR 14 in Bingen and White Salmon, Washington. This is a Prevailing Wage project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870.
Beginning Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 4:00 PM a complete solicitation document, including scope of work, sample contract, and design drawings and specifications, may be downloaded from the project page on the Port of Hood River website at:

There will be a $15 nonrefundable charge for each printed copy of the solicitation document. The document can also be viewed or printed online from the project page at:
If plans are obtained online, you must register and subscribe to the project updates on the project page to receive notification of bid addenda by email.
There is a mandatory project walk-through for prospective prime contractors at the work area scheduled on Tuesday February 26, 2019 at 10:00am. Contractors that do not have an authorized representative attending this walk-through will be considered non-responsive.
Bidders are not required to be pre-qualified under ORS 279C.430.
Bids must be addressed to John Mann, Facilities Manager, Port of Hood River. Bids must be delivered by 2:00 P.M. PDT on Tuesday March 19, 2019 to the Port office located at 1000 E. Port Marina Drive, Hood River OR 97031. Bids will not be accepted after 2:00 P.M. PDT on Tuesday March 19, 2019. Bids will be publicly opened in the Port office immediately following the bid deadline.
Engineer’s estimate for this project is $124,300.00.
