Ordinances

An ordinance is a formal law or regulation enacted by the Port's Board of Commissioners to govern and manage activities within the Port's jurisdiction. It establishes rules that help ensure the efficient and safe operation of Port properties, facilities, and services.

Ordinance No. 27 Regulating Conduct on Port Property
Ordinance No. 23-2018 Regulating Conduct at the Airport
Marina Park Ordinance for Port of Hood River
Marina Park Ordinance

This ordinance was introduced as a citizen initiative, meaning it was proposed and advanced by members of the public rather than by the Port Commission or staff. Citizen initiatives allow residents to directly influence Port policy by gathering the required number of signatures to place a measure on the ballot or before the Commission for consideration.

Previous ordinances are either repealed or no longer in effect.
