Stakeholder Group Meetings

To encourage broader public participation and more focused discussions, the Port is shifting from standing committees to a flexible stakeholder group model. This approach allows the Port to engage community members on specific topics as needed, ensuring input from those most affected by or interested in a given issue.

Examples of stakeholder groups may include discussions on recreation access, marina improvements, parking solutions, and transportation planning. These groups will be formed and dissolved based on evolving priorities, providing a more adaptable way to gather insights and guide decision-making.

As part of this transition, the Waterfront Recreation Committee and Marina Committee have been dissolved. The Commission retains the ability to establish or reactivate groups as needed to support ongoing and future projects.

Upcoming Meetings

All upcoming stakeholder meetings will be posted on this page. We encourage interested parties to stay informed and participate in discussions that are relevant to their interests and the future development of the waterfront and marina areas.

Currently, there are no scheduled meetings regarding the waterfront and marina areas.
