There will be intermittent closures of both lanes of the Hood
River/White Salmon Interstate Bridge Wednesday and Thursday next week
(September 7-8) between the hours of 9:00AM and 3:00PM. Port crews and
bridge engineers will be conducting live testing of the bridge’s lift span, and
technical crews will be installing cameras in the toll plaza. Each closure is
expected be up to 20 minutes in duration. Bridge users should expect delays of 20 minutes or more during those hours.

Hood River News: Lifted & loaded: HR Bridge vertical span back in action

Intermittent Full Bridge Closures Aug 10-12
**UPDATE: Port crews and bridge engineers have completed the live testing of the lift span. No further closures are expected Thursday, August 11 or Friday, August 12.***
HOOD RIVER, OR – There will be intermittent closures of both lanes of the Hood River/White Salmon Interstate Bridge Wednesday, August 10 through Friday, August 12 between the hours of 9:00AM and 3:00PM. Port crews and bridge engineers will be conducting live testing of the bridge’s lift span. Each closure is expected to last up to 20 minutes.
