Roadway asphalt repairs at the Oregon approach and bi-annual bridge deck maintenance welding will prompt several single-lane closures of the bridge this month. Bridge users should plan for delays or seek alternate routes on the following dates: Monday, October 14, 8:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. Tuesday the 15th: Roadway asphalt testing and repairs will be underway at the Oregon approach, with single lane closures. Flaggers will direct traffic around the moving work zone. (Please note this closure was originally scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 17 but has been rescheduled due to weather forecast). Monday – Friday, October 21 – 25, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Welding crews will be on the bridge performing maintenance deck welding. Flaggers will direct traffic around the moving work zone throughout the week. Expect delays and drive slowly for worker safety. Monday – Friday, October 28 – November 1, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Welding crews will continue their work until it is complete.
