The Port of Hood River will host a "Traffic and Revenue 101" public work session to inform the public on the purpose and need of Traffic and Revenue studies. These studies are expensive and provide bridge owners a variety of information that is used in developing bridge capacity and toll ranges. Rick Gobeille, from Stantec, a world-leading transportation firm out of New York City, speak and answer questions about the different types of Traffic and Revenue studies and share findings from a low-level sketch analysis produced for the Hood River-White Salmon Interstate bridge. High level Traffic and Revenue studies are a key component of post-NEPA activity.
The work session will take place from 4:00pm - 5:00pm (immediately preceding the Port Board of Commissioners meeting) at the Port conference room located at 1000 E. Port Marina Drive in Hood River.
